Interactomics

A protein-protein interaction that was discovered by interactomics, and modeled with Alphafold3. In green: the epigenetic regulator UHRF1. In cyan: the replication protein Ligase 1 (LIG1). The methylated lysine of LIG1 (cyan spheres) was rendered in more detail, as it mediates the interaction between proteins.

The Interactomics action aims at implementing dedicated procedures for integrative analysis of experimental interactomic and structural data, allowing (i) to explore mass spectrometry datasets, obtained from affinity proteomics or proximity biotinylation approaches, using data mining and structural modeling of proteins/multiprotein complexes, and (ii) to guide further in vivo analyses (e.g., interfering with interaction surfaces) in the frame of WP1.
