Consortium
The FORMULA inIdEx gathers complementary units with a shared interest in fundamental biomedical research, yet investigating biological systems in distinct physiological or pathological situations, at different scales. It involves several UFRs at the Faculté des Sciences (Life Sciences, Physics, Fundamental and Biomedical Sciences), the UFR of Medicine at the Faculté de Santé (teams from Institut Cochin) and Institut Pasteur (Developmental and Stem Cell Biology and Cell Biology and Infection departments).
Participating units:
– Institut Jacques Monod (IJM);
– Epigenetics and Cell Fate (EDC);
– Matter and Complex Systems (MSC);
– Institut Cochin;
– Paris Interdisciplinary Energy Research Institute (LIED);
– Environmental Toxicity, Therapeutic Targets, Cellular Signaling and Biomarkers (T3S);
– Functional and Adaptative Biology (BFA);
– Institut Imagine;
– Genomes and Cell biology of Diseases (Gen Cell Dis);
– Physiological and Pathological Cell Biology (Cell Biology and Infection department, Institut Pasteur);
– Developmental and Stem Cell biology (Developmental and Stem Cell biology department, Institut Pasteur).
In addition to the hundred researchers involved, spread across some 50 research teams, FORMULA coordinates its scientific activities with several existing core facilities, associating research engineers from:
– ImagoSeine (Imaging platform at IJM);
– BioEmergences (Imaging platform at MSC);
– the Image Analysis Hub (Institut Pasteur);
– ProteoSeine (Proteomics platform at IJM);
– iPOP-UP (integrative Platform for Omics Projects at Université de Paris);
– RPBS (Ressource Parisienne en Bioinformatique Structurale);
– BioMedTech Facilities (platform network at Campus St Germain;
– enSCORE (engineered spinal and cortical organoid core).
